Finding Our Roots

A free local history and genealogy event, Finding Our Roots features one-on-one genealogy consultations, a DNA kit giveaway and a talk by historian Lynn Rainville on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 12 PM – 4 PM. The Danville Public Library presents Keeping Oral Tradition Alive: A Storytelling Concert with Fred Motley. From 6-7 PM on February 23rd, join Mr. Motley for an evening of stories, rhymes, and songs from around the world with an extra dash of African American seasoning that celebrates families, community, history, and passing along wisdom.
